HOME > KADOYA pawn shop information
Kadoya Pawnshop operates in Seya Ward, Yokohama City.
As a long-established pawnshop with over 65 years of history, we serve numerous customers daily by providing pawn loans and purchasing valuable items.
Pawn loans allow customers to borrow money using their items as collateral.
If the borrowed amount is repaid within the three-month holding period, the item will be returned to the customer.
If the full repayment (principal + interest) is not possible within three months, customers may extend the loan period by paying only the interest.

Completion of Transaction
Once the contract is finalized, we will provide the loan amount in cash and issue a pawn ticket as proof of deposit.
Your item will be securely stored in our warehouse.
Repayment
The pawn period lasts for three months.
Within this period, if you bring the pawn ticket and pay the full amount (principal + interest), your item will be returned to you.
Extending the Loan Period
To extend the pawn period, bring your pawn ticket and pay the accumulated interest for the elapsed months before the due date.
Forfeiture (Shichinagare)
If the loan period expires without interest payment or contact from the customer, the pawned item will be forfeited and become the property of Kadoya Pawnshop.
Once forfeited, you will no longer be able to claim the item, but you are not required to repay the loan amount.
